Order to Cash
Genpact’s Order-to-Cash practice provides end-to-end solutions for the entire customer-to-cash lifecycle—driving transformation through our proprietary OTC platform suite, GenPower. We manage upstream processes, often referred to as Order-to-Bill, that include setting up customers and their contracts, assessing credit risk, and managing order fulfillment. We also handle downstream processes, or Invoice-to-Cash, such as collecting and applying cash payments and resolving customer disputes and deductions.

Genpact has the largest business-to-business OTC operation in the industry. We have 3,000-plus associates around the globe managing more than $100 billion in revenue for our Customers. Our scale and unparalleled experience positions us uniquely to service a wide variety of industries, geographies and company sizes. And our onshore, near-shore and offshore service delivery options cater to a wide range of language, price and functional needs.
Our Approach
The primary focus of our OTC solutions is to improve critical business outcomes, like DSO, revenue dilution and order-to-invoice cycle time for our clients. We bring a compendium of best practices, business insights, benchmarks and technology to drive their individual roadmaps toward world-class performance.

Our flexible approach to service delivery is customized to the OTC needs of every business and includes options to:
  • Transition the entire end-to-end process, leaving only strategy and policy behind or select specific processes by type, customer channel or geography
  • Deploy our proprietary technology, GenPower, to drive performance in collections, dispute management and self-serve billing and payment or engage of our functional experts to help bring existing ERP systems to best-in-class levels
  • Leverage our OTC centers of excellence onshore (US), near-shore (Mexico and Guatemala) and offshore (India and Philippines) to deliver the optimal combination of cost savings, efficiency and convenience
  • Designing business impact pricing models based on improving performance continually and encouraging collaboration across functional silos
Client Successes
We are proud to say that Genpact has driven improved DSOs and percentages Past Due metrics for all of our 80-plus OTC clients, without exception. Improvements have ranged from as much as 1-3 percent for already high-performing companies in the top quartile of performance in their industries to as high as 40 percent for companies that had been laggards prior to partnering with us. For example, for a $10 billion manufacturing client, we helped reduce their overall AR past dues by 400 percent to only 1 percent while, at the same time, eliminating over 70 percent of their pricing errors in the order management process—resulting in $120 million in additional cash flow to the business. Our intense focus on process excellence enables such clients to realize cost savings and increases in productivity beyond their initial expectations.
