Mark Verdi

Mark Verdi is a partner at AVALT Holdings, a family office focused on private equity that he started in 2015 with three former partners from Bain Capital.

Prior to that role, Mark served as president of C&S Wholesale Grocers, Inc. and as a managing director at Bain Capital.

Before joining Bain Capital, Mark worked for IBM Global Services, where he played a leadership role in the acquisition and integration of the consulting division of PricewaterhouseCoopers into IBM. He also led the global Financial Services Business Transformation Outsourcing Group at IBM.

Mark serves on the board of directors at the Grossman School of Business at the University of Vermont, and is a member of the boards of directors at several private companies.

Mark previously served on the boards of Burlington Stores, Inc., Trinseo S.A., and Bloomin’ Brands Inc.

Mark received a master of business administration degree from Harvard Business School. He also received a bachelor’s degree in business from the University of Vermont.
