About Sanjay
Sanjay works exclusively with Genpact’s senior client executives and ecosystem technology leaders to mobilize digital transformation at the intersection of cutting-edge technology, data strategy, operating models, and process design. Sanjay’s work informs the company’s innovation programs and technology initiatives, and the digital strategies and transformation practices it applies across the industries it serves globally.
In his previous role as Chief Digital Officer at Genpact, Sanjay built out the company’s offerings in artificial intelligence, data and analytics, automation, and digital technology services. He lead Genpact’s artificial-intelligence-enabled platform that delivers industry-leading governance, integration, and orchestration capabilities across digital transformations.
Before joining Genpact, Sanjay was a Silicon Valley serial entrepreneur, and built four high-tech startups, each of which were successfully acquired by Akamai, BMC, FIS, and Genpact, respectively. Sanjay also held operating leadership roles at Hewlett Packard, Akamai, and SunGard (now FIS), where he oversaw product management, global sales, engineering, and services businesses.
Sanjay writes regularly and speaks frequently at industry events on digital transformation, artificial intelligence, and Web 3.0, and actively blogs on LinkedIn. He has appeared on The Wall Street Journal, MIT Technology Review, CIO.com, Forbes, among others and International Data Group (IDG) has named Sanjay as one of the “10 Digital Transformation Influencers to Follow.”
Sanjay received his graduate degree from the University of Minnesota and earned his undergraduate degree from the Indian Institute of Technology.
